Year Walk is an adventure game based on the canvas of old Swedish legends. Play as a young man traversing the snowy forest, full of secrets and supernatural beings, and the gameplay is mainly composed of powerful exploration of the maze of trees and solving puzzles.
The game’s story handfuls derives from the Swedish folklore. The main character is a young man living in a small nineteenth-century village. He is not sure of the sincerity of his feelings, his chosen one, so to get the answer to his questions on the last day of the year goes to the title march through the snow-covered forest. According to tradition, those who make it have a chance to gain the favor of living among the trees supernatural beings, and thus know the truth.
The game is a full adventure game. It does not have any sequence of skill and instead the fun lies in exploring the maze-like forest and solving puzzles. Puzzles are not easy and during the game a good idea to save all handwritten instructions, as well as rozrysowywanie maps, uławiającej not get confused between the trees.
